ADULT BIBLE STUDIES Chester Hayton leads a series from the Book of Revelation and Darrell and Karen Horn lead a new series titled "Impact Your World" a study on Missions. Our next Celebration Sunday will be September 12th. SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE Trinity Baptist Church is helping KISD students who need a little help with school supplies. We are partnering with Mayde Creek Elementary School. For the next two Sundays, please donate school supplies here at the church to help students have a much better learning experience. A list of school supplies can be found on the Katy Independent School District website School Supply List (Mayde Creek Elementary/parent/supplies). After collecting them here at the church, we will take them over to the school. Thank you so much for helping! WOMEN'S MINISTRY
Fall Ladies Bible Studies will begin on Tuesday evening at 7 pm at the Goodwin home (6223 Anthonia Lane, Richmond 77406) on September 7 and Thursday morning at 8am at Kingsland Baptist Church (20555 Kingsland Blvd Katy 77450) on September 9. The ladies will study: "He Speaks to Me" (Preparing to Hear from God) by Priscilla Shirer $11.50 and "Faithful, Abundant and True" by Kay Arthur, Beth Moore and Priscilla Shirer $13.50. Child care is available on Thursday mornings at Kingsland. RSVP required. Sign up at Trinity's |Welcome Center on Sunday morning. MEN'S SOFTBALL SIGNUP Calling all men who need a little exercise! If you are interested in playing in a men's softball league, please sign up at the welcome desk. Games will be on Monday nights (two games each Monday) at Cullen Park here in Katy. The season lasts five weeks beginning on September 13. There will be a slight charge depending on how many sign up to play. KIDS FOR CHRIST KFC (Kids for Christ) will begin on Sunday, September 12th at Kilpatrick Elementary. We meet every week to learn Bible Verses, Bible Skills, and Missions. KFC meets from 4:30 to 5:45 on Sundays. TRINITY CHILDREN'S CHOIR
Our Children's Choir will start again on Sunday night September 12th after KFC. SENIOR ADULT FELLOWSHIP Join with the senior adults (no age limit) as they have fun, food, and fellowship on Monday afternoons. We meet in homes to snack and play Chicken Foot, Train, and Jokers and Marbles (all table games) while getting to know each other better. Sometimes we have lunch together at a restaurant - and then play games. And, yes, we do love to eat while we fellowship, and all are welcome - members and non-members. We meet from 2:00 - 5:00ish. MEN'S PRAYER BREAKFAST We invite all men of the church to come to the Brimberry home at 8:00 am on September 18th for breakfast, fellowship and bible study. David's address is: 22202 Winding Lake Court in Katy. His phone number is: 281-395-6807. We are studying a booklet by Tom and Henry Blackaby called "The Man God Uses". This study looks at the surge of God's activity in the hearts of men and provides help and encouragement to the men that God is touching. PRAYER SERVICE The Leadership Team and Staff invite you to a weekly Prayer Service. We meet at Weichert Reality (535 E Fernhurst Drive in Katy) starting at 7:00 p.m. each Wednesday evening. G2:20 is Back !!! TRINITY CHOIR FALL KICKOFF If you love to worship in song, if God has given you a voice to lift in worship then there is no better place to exercise that gift than the Trinity Choir. We will be celebrating the kick-off of our choral season with a party as part of our rehearsal on September 2 at Kingsland Baptist Church in the Choral Suite at 7:00pm and your invited!. I am so excited about the opportunity to once again join our voices to make music for our Lord! There have been some changes made to the structure and rehearsal schedule for choir. I know that we all face busy schedules and there are more things tugging at your time than you can keep track of so we have adjusted our rehearsals to get the most out of our time! Come visit us on September 2 and find out how we have worked to make choir an incredible time of worship and preparation. No matter where you find yourself in musical ability, you will feel at home in rehearsals. CALLING ALL INSTRUMENTALISTS Calling all instrumentalists! This year Trinity will be adding a worship orchestra to play on regular occasion as a part of our worship team! BUILDING TEAM UPDATE The Building Team has selected a contractor to work with the Architect and the Construction Drawing phase is on schedule and we hope to be completed during late September. Please be in prayer for this process. STEPPING STONES - CHILDREN'S WORSHIP
We are excited to announce the start of "Stepping Stones"! Stepping Stones will be a place where our children will learn what worship is all about. We will have a time of worship through singing followed by a sermon designed just for them. This will not be a time of crafts and games but a time where they will be fed through Bible teaching. TRINITY MEETS AT SEVEN LAKES HIGH SCHOOL 9TH GRADE CENTER We are meeting at our new "semi-permanent" home at in the Ninth Grade Center at Seven Lakes High School. Click here for a map.
