Class Schedule: January 8 - March 25th (12 Weeks)

2. Study of Daniel - Chester Hayton
3. Authentic Relationships - David Brimberry

ADULTS: SUNDAY NIGHT DISCIPLESHIP (4:30PM SUNDAYS)
Shepherding a Child's Heart - Sheperding a Child's Heart is about how to speak to the heart of your child. The things your child does and says flows from the heart. Written for parents with children of any age, this insightful study provides perspectives and procedures for shepherding your child's heart into the paths of life. You won't want to miss this excting time of study and sharing together. Sundays at 4:30pm at Kilpatrick Elementary School.

Spanish Langauge Bible Study - Our community is blessed to have a mixture of cultures and a diversity of languages that live side by side. Trinity was also blessed to have a Korean speaking group meeting with us for a time several months ago. We seek to minister and serve all people through our church while maintaining a strong commitment to unity. We say, "celebrating diversity while embracing unity." We have a healthy group of folks who meet on Sunday afternoon at 4:30pm at Kilpatrick Elementary School to share in a Spanish Bible Study led by our pastor. If you have a neighbor that speaks Spanish or if you are learning Spanish and would like to put it into use, come and join us as we study God's Word in Spanish.

BUILDING TEAM UPDATE
Well, we'be been praying for rain.... and here it is! Good news though, even with all the rain we have only lost a few weeks on our construction schedule. We were supposed to pour the slab this Wednesday, but rain has delayed it for a while. The crews have been busy getting the forms ready, laying conduit for the future sound system and electrical outlets, and the sidewalk was poured all the way to Spring Green Blvd. Hopefully in the next week we will see the slab being poured and the steel structure going up shortly thereafter.

Thanks to all those who have given sacrificially and have been praying for God's guidance and direction in our building process.

CHILDREN: KFC
All children are invited to come to KFC on Sunday nights, 4:30 pm at Kilpatrick Elementary School. At KFC, our concentration is on scripture memorization and use of the Bible. Each week students earn KFC Kash for participating in the theme of the week and for Bible verse memorization. In May the children trade in their KFC Kash for items in the KFC Store. We hope you will come join the fun, learn all of your Bible verses and discover how to use your Bible.

Theme of the week January 29 - Measles Night - For each Bible verse the kid's say, they get to add a red measles to their teacher's face. Feb 5 - Soup-ER Bowl Night (bring canned soup for KCM) Feb 12 Hearts Night We can't wait to see everyone on Sunday night. Please ask your parents to be sure to drop you off no later than 4:25 so we can get started on time!

LIFELINK IS COMING SOON!
lifeLINK is an online communication tool that will help Trinity coordinate every aspect of church life. Many other churches in our area have converted to this software/web tool though each church calls it something different. We have chosen the name lifeLINK as we see the it as an opportunity to link everything together. The Ministry Council and our various teams are now in the process of learning the new system and we will be rolling it out to the congregation next month! .

MEN'S MINISTRIES
Men's Tuesday Morning Accountability Group Men, did you know that the pastor has made it a priority to be in the church office at 6:15 a.m. on Tuesday mornings specifically to pray and encourage the men of our church? There are doughnuts and Bruce Anderson brings coffee most Tuesdays! We are using the book "The Man in the Mirror" by Patrick Morley as a discussion starter and it challenges us to be the men that God wants us to be! We make it a point to end at 7:00 a.m. so that there can still be travel time to get to work at a decent time. All men are invited! Be there and you will find this time extremely valuable in your spiritual walk.

Men's Prayer & Breakfast Club will meet at 8:00 am, on Saturday January 21st, at David Brimberry's house. Please contact David or the church office for more information.

MISSIONS: TRINITY MISSION OFFERING
Thank you to those who have given to the Trinity Missions Offering. Each year, Trinity takes up an offering during the month of December. These funds are divided equally among three missions offerings: Mary Hill Davis (Texas), Annie Armstrong (North America), and Lottie Moon (International).

MUSIC: TRINITY CHOIR
What a joy it was to hear our choir and orchestra over the Christmas season! It was nice to have friends join us as we offered our hearts in worship through singing and playing instruments. It is a great time to come and join the choir as we rehearse and present selections through the spring and as we anticipate Easter! We also have our building dedication coming up in a few months which will be a great cause for celebration and our choir will be a big part of that praise! The choir meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month beginning January 19, 2012 at Kingsland Baptist Church's choir room at 7:00 p.m. Come and join us! For more information, contact Dusten Melear at the church office or via email.

PRAYER SERVICE
Please remember that we come together mid-week as a church to pray for one another and offer up our thankful hearts and praises to the Lord! Every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. we meet at Weichert Reality (535 E Fernhurst Drive, 77450) for a brief Bible meditation and much prayer. We have changed our format recently and now have four prayer stations. Each station is a different prayer emphasis and we pray and write current prayer requests on index cards to be added to the list. After a few minutes in prayer at any one station, a person is free to rotate to another station that has a different emphasis. This allows us to spend our time in actual prayer and not just in going over the requests for prayer. Come and join us! It is a sweet time in prayer.

PRAYER WALK FOR OUR BUILDING
Please join us as we will have a special time of prayer after our morning worship service on January 29th for our building. Immediately following the morning service, we will go over to our land where construction has been going on for several weeks. We plan to pray for the safety of the workers, the progress of the building, the programs to be held in the building (children, youth, adults, etc.) in their approximate location, and other concerns God places on our hearts. It will be the first of opportunities to pray on site while the building is being built. Please join us as we seek God's guidance and give our thanks to Him in this visible way!

SENIOR ADULT FELLOWSHIP
The Senior Adult Fellowship will meets frequently and has lots of wonderful fellowship! Call Judy Crowe or the church office for more details.

SERMON SERIES
Does God Fit Anymore?

Sometimes things happen that makes such a major impact on your life that everything changes. People talk about how life changes for a couple once they start having a family. If a person considers changing careers paths after several years of being in one…that can be a major change as well. Moving to a different country to live would be a massive change. By the way, accepting Christ as Lord and Savior should also be a major “paradigm shift” as well! We’ve been talking about individuals, but what happens when it is on a massive scale that affects whole nations or the world? Historians talk about the printing press and, more recently, the computer as causing “paradigm shifts” in the information world. You might think of others. Many theologians write and speak that how people think of religion and God have been undergoing a major shift in the past couple of decades. This means that younger people really speak a different “language” than older folks because of their philosophical and ideological underpinnings. Interestingly, that happened to the nation of Israel in Jeremiah’s day. Join us as we begin a sermon series on “Does God Fit Anymore”… a series that will help us grapple with current sociological thinking and how an unchanging God can meet us, and them, where they are.

This Sunday is also bring a friend for pizza night. We want our preteens to invite a friend to Access 56 and afterward we're heading over to New York Pizzeria (24210 Westheimer Pkwy #100 Katy, Tx) for a time of chowing down and fellowship. G2:20: Youth (Grades 7-12) G2:20 will meet on Sunday 4:30 pm, Kilpatrick Elementary School. Are you the type that keeps score when someone hurts you or does you wrong? Are you the type that wishes ill will on them? Are you the type that can't wait for the day to get even? I think we've all been there. This Sunday afternoon at G2:20 we will be discussing what the Bible says about "keeping score". We will look into the life of Joseph, how he over came the attitude of revenge. So come prepared with your Bibles and a heart opened to Gods word. And as always we do encourage you to bring a friend. See you then.

CHILDREN'S WORSHIP - STEPPING STONES
We are excited to announce "Stepping Stones"! Stepping Stones is a place where our children learn what worship is all about. We have a time of worship through singing followed by a sermon designed just for them. This is not be a time of crafts and games but a time when they are fed through Bible teaching.

This time of worship is for kids in Kindergarten - 3rd grade. Stepping Stones also prepares our children for "Big Church". It is our hearts desire to teach our children Biblical principles and the importance of worshiping in church. The children begin in worship with their parents and are then dismissed shortly before the sermon time to go to "Stepping Stones".

Please pray for this time of worship for our children and for those that are teaching and helping.
