Meanwhile construction continues this week with the hanging of drywall and other interior work. Please continue to pray for this process.

CHILDREN: KFC
All children are invited to come to KFC on Sunday nights, 4:30 pm at Kilpatrick Elementary School. At KFC, our concentration is on scripture memorization and use of the Bible. Each week students earn KFC Kash for participating in the theme of the week and for Bible verse memorization. In May the children trade in their KFC Kash for items in the KFC Store. We hope you will come join the fun, learn all of your Bible verses and discover how to use your Bible.

Theme of the week

LIFELINK IS LIVE!
lifeLINK is an online communication tool that will help Trinity coordinate every aspect of church life. Many other churches in our area have converted to this software/web tool though each church calls it something different. We have chosen the name lifeLINK as we see the it as an opportunity to link everything together. The Ministry Council and our various teams are now in the process of learning the new system and we will be rolling it out to the congregation next month!

MEN'S MINISTRIES
Men's Tuesday Morning Accountability Group Men, did you know that the pastor has made it a priority to be in the church office at 6:15 a.m. on Tuesday mornings specifically to pray and encourage the men of our church? There are doughnuts and Bruce Anderson brings coffee most Tuesdays! We are using the book "The Man in the Mirror" by Patrick Morley as a discussion starter and it challenges us to be the men that God wants us to be! We make it a point to end at 7:00 a.m. so that there can still be travel time to get to work at a decent time. All men are invited! Be there and you will find this time extremely valuable in your spiritual walk.

Monthly Men's Breakfast This Saturday the men of Trinity, their friends and neighbors will meet at the Brimberry home for breakfast, prayer, study, and fellowship. The men are studying Blackaby's "The Man God Uses." The text takes a man from his initial walk with God to a far greater and meaningful experience. We hope you will come at 8:00 am. This is a great opportunity to get together with other men, a time to discuss key issues of faith, to build and strengthen your daily walk with God. Please contact the church office or David Brimberry for more information.

Also, the Men's Fishing Trip has been scheduled for June 15-16. We are working on the details and more information will be available soon... this has become one of our most favorite outings during the year!

MISSIONS: BABY BOTTLE BLESSING
It's time for the annual Baby Bottle Blessing which is a fundraiser for the Pregnancy Help Center located here in Katy. We have done this in the past and is an easy and even "fun" way to help out an important organization. From Mother's Day (May 13) to Father's Day (June 17th), you can put your loose change (or even dollar bills) in a baby bottle provided by the Help Center and available for pick up at our information table for the next three Sundays. We will collect them on Father's Day and deliver them to the Pregnancy Help Center. This is a great fundraiser for them and if you can help...that would be great!

MISSIONS: SUMMER MISSION OPPORTUNITIES
The Missions Team would like to present two opportunities for short term mission trips this summer!

One is a Family Mission Trip to Arkansas on June 25-29, 2012. The Arkansas Mission Trip is taking shape and we are very excited! We will be working with a church in Dennard, Arkansas and their pastor, Rick Montgomery. This church is a new church and they have just purchases some beautiful property for their church that used to be a zoo! The schedule is still being developed but it looks like we will help them with some clean-up and light construction (painting and such) on their property, help the church visit local prospects and have evening activities with their church like a movie night and block parties!

If you haven't signed up, there is still time! We will travel on Monday, June 25, 2012, work Tuesday through Friday, and return on Saturday, June 30, 2012. If you can't go, please pray for the group that will be ministering in Arkansas this June."

The second trip is an international mission trip to Costa Rica on July 31 - August 7. We will be working with La Paz Church in Heredia. This is a dynamic church that has ministries into the community from feeding children to youth work to adult ministries. This trip will make an impact on all those going by being immersed in another culture and language, seeing God's kingdom work being done in different ways and different methods, and being a part of God's church that stretches around the world! The Missions Team is really trying to keep the cost of this trip to around $900 per person.

There are sign ups on the welcome table if you are interested on one or both of these trips. You don't have to commit right away, but we will buy air tickets for the Costa Rica trip in May or early June.

MUSIC: TRINITY SUMMER CHOIR
This year has been exciting for the Trinity choir. We have had two great musicals at Christmas and Easter. We have added new faces and seen former members rejoin us. This is all very exciting, but there is more to come. As each day passes we inch closer to having our own place of worship and our own space for worship! We only have 2 more rehearsals at Kingsland! It is important that the Trinity Adult Choir be a vital part of the worship in the building from the beginning. One of the most exciting ways that will happen is through the singing of a piece that is being written or "Commissioned," by Dr. Daniel Kramlich of the HBU faculty for our building dedication service on August 26th,.

The first Sunday in the building falls in the middle of the summer and Trinity Choir has traditionally taken the summer off. I would like to invite anyone who would be willing to make a sacrifice of your time so that we may rehearse and continue singing this summer. Below is a tentative rehearsal schedule for us to be able to fully prepare ourselves for this exciting time in our churches history.

Rehearsal Dates (tentative based off of anticipated building schedule): July 14th (day before first service in building; begin work on commissioned piece) August 11th (Kick off of regular fall rehearsals) August 15th (begin regular rehearsals for the fall)

If you want more information about joining the Trinity Adult Choir please contact Dusten via email or at the church office.

PRAYER SERVICE
Please remember that we come together mid-week as a church to pray for one another and offer up our thankful hearts and praises to the Lord! Every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. we meet at Weichert Reality (535 E Fernhurst Drive, 77450) for a brief Bible meditation and much prayer. We have changed our format recently and now have four prayer stations. Each station is a different prayer emphasis and we pray and write current prayer requests on index cards to be added to the list. After a few minutes in prayer at any one station, a person is free to rotate to another station that has a different emphasis. This allows us to spend our time in actual prayer and not just in going over the requests for prayer. Come and join us! It is a sweet time in prayer.

SENIOR ADULT FELLOWSHIP
The Senior Adult Fellowship will meets frequently and has lots of wonderful fellowship! Call Judy Crowe or the church office for more details.

G2:20: Youth (Grades 7-12) G2:20 meets on Sunday at 4:30 pm at Kilpatrick Elementary School. Are you the type that keeps score when someone hurts you or does you wrong? Are you the type that wishes ill will on them? Are you the type that can't wait for the day to get even? I think we've all been there. This Sunday afternoon at G2:20 we will be discussing what the Bible says about "keeping score". We will look into the life of Joseph, how he over came the attitude of revenge. So come prepared with your Bibles and a heart opened to Gods word. And as always we do encourage you to bring a friend. See you then.

TRINITY MEETS AT SEVEN LAKES HIGH SCHOOL 9TH GRADE CENTER

CHILDREN'S WORSHIP - STEPPING STONES
We are excited to announce "Stepping Stones"! Stepping Stones is a place where our children learn what worship is all about. We have a time of worship through singing followed by a sermon designed just for them. This is not be a time of crafts and games but a time when they are fed through Bible teaching.

This time of worship is for kids in Kindergarten - 3rd grade. Stepping Stones also prepares our children for "Big Church". It is our hearts desire to teach our children Biblical principles and the importance of worshiping in church. The children begin in worship with their parents and are then dismissed shortly before the sermon time to go to "Stepping Stones".

Please pray for this time of worship for our children and for those that are teaching and helping.
