The Women's Ministry is excited to announce the Fall Bible Studies: MENS PRAYER BREAKFAST The Trinity men will enjoy a time of food, study, fellowship and prayer on Saturday morning, September 20th from 8:00 - 10:00am, at the Brimberry home. If you get lost, call David 281-395-6807. We are studying a booklet by Tom and Henry Blackaby called "The Man God Uses". This study looks at the surge of God's activity in the hearts of men and provides help and encouragement to the men that God is touching. SUNDAY MORNING ADULT BIBLE STUDIES This week begins a new Bible Study series. Carl Lenz will be teaching from the Book of Titus, Chester Hayton will be teaching from the Book of Isaiah, and Patrick Freeman will be leading a study on Personal Evangelism. Join us at 9:30 for these exciting studies from God's Word. SPIRITUAL PREPARATION WEEKEND Mark your calendars now!!! Saturday, September 27th and Sunday, September 28th are the dates for Trinity's Spiritual Preparation Weekend. Sessions will be held on Saturday and will continue on Sunday morning as we as a church begin to prepare our hearts for the upcoming Capital Campaign. This is an important weekend in the life of our congregation, you don't want to miss out. More details will be available in the next few weeks. MISSION TRIP UPDATES The Mission Trip to Cuba has been rescheduled for about December 27 - January 2. The Mission Team needs to know by August 17th if you are interested in going to Cuba. Please contact David Brimberry @ 281-395-6807 or any Mission Team member. MONDAY NIGHT YOUTH OUTREACH Calling all Youth! Impact the Katy community! Come meet at Dunn Brothers Coffee at 7pm on Monday night and spend half an hour passing out door hangers. We need your help to reach as many people in the Katy community as we can. After we spend time passing out door hangers, we will have the opportunity to relax and fellowship together by possibly bowling, watching a movie, getting ice cream, swimming or some other fun event. This is an easy way for you as a student to reach out and impact your community! ADULT SUMMER OUTREACH Summertime is here and we need your help on Monday nights! With all the new families moving in to our neighborhood we need to let them know about Trinity. On Monday Nights this Summer we will be meeting at 7:00 pm at Dunn Brothers Coffee (Near HEB on Fry & 99). We will meet together then spread into the neighborhoods with door hangers and information about Trinity. This is a great opportunity to invite people to Trinity, many of whom are new to our area. SENIOR ADULT FELLOWSHIP The senior group will still meet Monday afternoon 8/25/2008 @2:00 at the home of Harold Gates. TRL- TRINITY YOUTH NIGHT
TRL will continue September 7th. Starting Sunday night at 7:15 p.m. TRL will meet at a new location: HOME GROUPS Home Groups will resume in the fall. These are groups that meet in members' homes for fellowship and bible study. Please contact the church office or the Sunday morning welcome table for more information. KIDS FOR CHRIST KFC will meet weekly at 6: 15 pm at Dan's Sports Center starting Sunday, September 7. MASTER PLAN DESIGN UNDERWAY Trinity Baptist Church has purchased property at the corner of Fry and Spring Green. An architect has been hired to begin design work with the Master Plan Design Team led by Rick Sumrall. Please pray for God's guidance and blessings as we enter this next stage. TRINITY MEETS AT BECKENDORFF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL We are meeting at our new "semi-permanent" home at Beckendorff Junior High School located at 8200 South Fry Rd. To Reach Beckendorff, go to the Grand Parkway (Highway 99) and exit Fry Road. Go west (left if you are traveling north and right if you are traveling south) about 1 mile. See you at soon!
