Trinity Baptist Church is a church that honors Christ's challenge to take His gospel to the ends of the earth. We have voted to send 9% of our budget (budget year 2013-2014) to mission causes. The percentage breakdown of that 9% is as follows: 3% is given to the Baptist General Convention of Texas with a portion of those monies being sent on to the national Southern Baptist Convention, 3% is given to our local San Felipe Baptist Association to facilitate work in our Katy/Fulshear/Rosenberg area, and 3% is used for local missions causes supported by our own church and for mission trips taken by our church.
Trinity also participates in an annual freewill offering above our budget requirements. Many Baptist churches across our state and nation participate in these offerings and together, they support missionaries and missions work across the globe. The Lottie Moon Missions Offering is for international missionary work, the Annie Armstrong Missions Offering supports missionary work in North America and the Mary Hill Davis Missions Offering helps missionary work in the state of Texas. Trinity collects one offering during the month of December and our Missions Team distributes the money between the three causes.
Trinity Baptist Church places a high value on missions work and serving others. For more complete information on what our various ministries do in missions and what our Missions Team supports, please click on the local missions tab and/or the international missions tab.
